Leadership Team

Our Leadership

Meet the dedicated professionals and experts leading IASCC's mission to advance supportive cancer care

Who We Are

At the Integrated Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (IASCC), we believe that lasting change in cancer care begins with visionary leadership — rooted in experience, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Our leadership team comprises Founding Members, an Executive Board, and a Scientific Committee — each playing a vital role in shaping the direction of supportive oncology in India. Together, they bring decades of clinical expertise, academic excellence, and a shared dedication to improving quality of life for people living with cancer.

💡 Founding Vision

Founding Members & Conveners

Every movement begins with a moment of clarity — a realization that something essential is missing. For IASCC, that moment came when two visionary oncologists recognized the need for cancer care in India to go beyond disease treatment, to care for the whole person.

Co-founder's Message

"MASCC is doing a great work in the field of supportive care globally and is also a very important body providing much-needed guidelines to the world on the aspects of supportive care. India needed to develop its own supportive care evidence for our own patients and shape guidelines based on the same.

I attended MASCC in 2018 and was inspired by the work of many global leaders in the field of supportive care. Dr. Sudeep Gupta encouraged me to take the lead in forming a society that would become MASCC's affiliate in India — one that would uphold the same principles and values in advancing supportive cancer care."

Co-founder's Message

"IASCC was a great opportunity to create a focused platform for supportive care in cancer — a long-neglected but vitally important aspect of oncology.

Supportive care is vitally important for maintaining the quality of life of patients during and after cancer treatment. MASCC was extremely supportive in helping us set up this group in India."
