Research Grants

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Research Proposals is now open for the IASCC Research Grant 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their proposals during the Best of MASCC 2025 conference on 29 November 2025 in Mumbai.

This grant supports original research in the field of supportive care in cancer, and is open to Indian clinicians/oncologists, oncology nurses, and researchers affiliated with academic, public, or private institutions.

🔍 Proposal Details:
Interested applicants are required to submit a 2-page synopsis (Word or PDF) covering:
- Title of the Project
- Principal Investigator's Name, Affiliation & Contact
- Rationale and Gaps in Knowledge
- Objectives & Methodology (study design, sample size, implementation plan, statistical analysis)
- Expected Timeline

🗓 Key Dates:
- Proposal Deadline: 30 September 2025
- Shortlisted Presenters Announced: 25 October 2025
- Final PPT Submission: 15 November 2025
- Presentations: 29 November 2025 at Best of MASCC 2025 (in-person or online)

📌 Shortlisted proposals will be presented during the conference. Only the top selected proposals will be awarded research grants based on final jury evaluation.

As part of its commitment to fostering high-quality research in supportive care, IASCC invited investigator-initiated proposals from oncology professionals across India. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 5 outstanding proposals were selected for funding under the IASCC Research Grant 2023.

As part of our commitment to advancing research in supportive cancer care, IASCC launched a nationwide Call for Proposals under the IASCC Research Grant 2024 initiative.

🎉 4 outstanding proposals were selected for the IASCC Research Grant 2024

We’re proud to announce the recipients of the IASCC Research Grant 2024, selected after a competitive review and presentation process at Best of MASCC 2024.

As part of the Best of MASCC 2022 conference, nine innovative research proposals were presented by early-career investigators and clinicians working in supportive cancer care. After thorough evaluation, three proposals were awarded research grants supported by the Nag Foundation and River Route Creative Group.

As part of the Best of MASCC 2020 virtual conference, 29 innovative research proposals were submitted by early-career investigators and clinicians working in supportive cancer care. After thorough evaluation, 6 proposals were awarded research grants, recognizing excellence in supportive care research.

Under the IASCC–MASCC initiative, five outstanding research proposals have been selected for support. Chosen from a total of 17 submissions, these innovative projects focus on enhancing quality-of-life outcomes, improving symptom management, and increasing treatment tolerance in cancer care. Through this initiative, IASCC aims to advance evidence-based practices in supportive cancer care.
