As part of our ongoing effort to highlight and follow up on research supported through the IASCC Research Grants, we have invited previous grant recipients to share the progress and impact of their IASCC-funded research during a dedicated session at Best of MASCC 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the hard work, achievements and contributions to supportive cancer care.

Date: Saturday, 29th November 2025
Research Grant Updates Session: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM IST
Venue: Jade - Ground Floor, Fairfield by Marriott, Mumbai
Mode: Hybrid (in-person or virtual participation)

Presentation Guidelines (5-7 minutes, 6-8 slides, using the attached template):

• Study Overview: Title, investigators, objectives and workflow
• Grant Details: Include on your opening slide: “This project titled ‘[Project Title]’ was awarded the IASCC Research Grant of ₹[Amount] in [Year] during Best of MASCC [Year].”
• Progress & Milestones: Key achievements, current status, challenges
• Study Details: Approval/accrual dates, patient recruitment, amendments
• Data Summary: Interim findings or analyses
• Publications/Presentations: Details of any publications or presentations arising from your work (Ensure IASCC acknowledgment)
• Detailed account statement with utilization certificate (signed and sealed by your institute’s accounts authority)
• Financial Summary
• Future Plans & Expected Outcomes

Each presenter has been allocated a 5-minute slot, comprising:

• 3 minutes – Presentation
• 2 minutes – Q&A and evaluator feedback

• In-person presenters: Please arrive at the venue by 2:45 PM for registration and setup. 
• Virtual presenters: Please join the Zoom meeting at 03:00 PM, or at least 15 minutes before your scheduled slot, to ensure a smooth session.

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Research Proposals is now open for the IASCC Research Grant 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their proposals during the Best of MASCC 2025 conference on 29 November 2025 in Mumbai.

This grant supports original research in the field of supportive care in cancer, and is open to Indian clinicians/oncologists, oncology nurses, and researchers affiliated with academic, public, or private institutions.

🔍 Proposal Details:

Interested applicants are required to submit a 2-page synopsis (Word or PDF) covering:
- Title of the Project
- Principal Investigator's Name, Affiliation & Contact
- Rationale and Gaps in Knowledge
- Objectives & Methodology (study design, sample size, implementation plan, statistical analysis)
- Expected Timeline

🗓 Key Dates:

- Proposal Deadline: 30 September 2025
- Shortlisted Presenters Announced: 20 October 2025
- Final PPT Submission: 15 November 2025
- Presentations: 29 November 2025 at Best of MASCC 2025 (in-person or online)

📌 Shortlisted proposals will be presented during the conference. Only the top selected proposals will be awarded research grants based on final jury evaluation.
